A LITTLE ABOUT ME.

I’m James, a Toronto-based photographer, content creator and the person behind OFFSKRIPT SOCIAL.

My creative background spans wedding, fashion and commercial photography, where I’ve spent years developing an eye for visual storytelling, thoughtful composition and the details that make an image feel like something.

The unexpected glance. The movement of fabric. Beautiful light in an unlikely place. The in-between moments that often say more than the perfectly planned ones.

OFFSKRIPT was born from a desire to bring that same photographic perspective into wedding content creation. A more editorial, design-led approach to documenting real, spontaneous moments, where beautiful imagery and genuine emotion can exist in the same frame.

As a queer-owned creative studio, inclusivity is part of who I am, not just something I stand for. I believe in celebrating love in all its forms, embracing individuality and making space for stories that don’t always follow tradition.

I’m drawn to people with personality, thoughtful details and a little bit of the unconventional. The beautifully imperfect, the effortlessly cool and everything that makes your celebration distinctly authentic to you.

And while I take my work seriously, I don’t take myself too seriously. I’m naturally outgoing, love connecting with people and genuinely enjoy being part of the energy of a wedding day. For me, making people feel comfortable, seen and completely themselves is just as important as creating beautiful imagery. The best moments happen when people feel at ease, and I love being someone who helps make that happen.

My approach is equal parts intentional and instinctive. I care about the light, the movement, the atmosphere and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

Because the most compelling stories aren’t necessarily the ones that follow a script.

They’re the ones that feel like you.
